Website operator
Swim Global Project is a division of Iversen Martin LLC. In this notice, “SGP,” “we,” “us” and “our” refer to Iversen Martin LLC operating through its Swim Global Project division.
This notice applies to the SGP website. Separate written agreements and notices may apply to specific services, programmes, events or memberships.
Respecting original work
Copyright & permissions
We require prior written permission to republish SGP’s original content.
Except where applicable law permits otherwise, you may not reproduce, republish, publicly distribute, publicly display, adapt or commercially use SGP’s original articles, photographs, illustrations, videos, presentations, downloadable resources or other protected material without prior express written permission from Iversen Martin LLC or the relevant rights holder.
Public access to this website, a download option or an acknowledgement of the author does not by itself grant permission to republish material. You may read the website, use downloads for your own reference and share links to our pages without reproducing their content or suggesting an endorsement.
Original SGP material is protected by copyright where applicable. Copyright and other rights remain with their respective owners, including Iversen Martin LLC, contributing authors, photographers and other licensors. Third-party articles, logos, videos and other materials remain subject to their owners’ rights and any expressly stated licences. We can only grant permission for rights we control.
To request permission, identify the material, the proposed use, where it would appear and any commercial purpose. A request is not permission: please wait for express written authorization. Any permission is limited to the use stated in that authorization.

Nothing in this notice restricts fair use, fair dealing, public-domain material or other uses permitted by applicable law without permission. Use of SGP names, logos and marks must not misleadingly suggest sponsorship, affiliation or endorsement.
Your information
Privacy notice
Enquiries and correspondence
If you email us, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your name, email address, organization and message. We use that information to respond to your enquiry, communicate about the matter you raised and manage the resulting relationship.
The enquiry tool on our Contact page prepares an email draft in your browser. Preparing a draft does not send it to SGP; you choose whether to send it through your email application. Please avoid including sensitive health information, identification documents or personal information about children in a general enquiry.
Newsletter subscriptions
Newsletter signup is not currently active on this website. When subscriptions become available, the signup information will explain how subscriber details are used and identify the delivery service. Marketing newsletters will include an unsubscribe option. An enquiry does not itself subscribe you to a newsletter.
Website operation, cookies and external services
Hosting and security providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser details and request logs to deliver and protect the website. This version of the website does not include an SGP advertising pixel or a separate SGP analytics service.
Our expert interview page includes a Vimeo video player. Loading embedded video connects your browser to Vimeo, which may receive technical information and use cookies under its own policies. See Vimeo’s player cookie information. Your browser settings can restrict cookies, although doing so may affect video playback.
Links to Instagram, LinkedIn, Substack and other external websites take you to services with their own privacy practices. Those services’ notices apply to information you provide to them.
Service providers and retention
Email and hosting providers process information as part of delivering their services. Information may also need to be disclosed where required by law or to protect legal rights. Providers may process information outside your country.
How long correspondence needs to be retained depends on the enquiry, any ongoing work and applicable recordkeeping requirements. Contact us if you want us to review information held about you or its continued retention.
Your choices and requests
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, restrict or object to its use, or withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing. Contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity, and legal requirements may limit what can be deleted or changed. You may also have the right to raise a concern with your local data-protection authority.
The website’s enquiry and subscription features are intended for adults. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can review the matter.
Using the website
Terms of use
Use this website lawfully and respect the rights of SGP, contributors and other visitors. Do not interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access or use its content to misrepresent a relationship with SGP.
We aim to provide useful, accurate information, but articles and resources reflect their publication dates and may not describe the latest evidence, law or local conditions. We may correct or update content. Website information is provided for general information, without a guarantee that it is complete, current or suitable for a particular situation.
External links are offered for reference. We do not control external content or its continued availability, and a link does not by itself imply endorsement. Views in attributed contributions belong to their authors.
Browsing this website or sending an enquiry does not create a professional engagement, membership, certification or other service agreement. Any such arrangement requires separate confirmation and, where applicable, agreed terms.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights or liabilities that applicable law does not allow to be excluded or limited. Changes to this notice will be reflected in the updated date above; permission already granted in writing remains subject to its own terms.

Water environments and individual abilities vary. No article, programme description or safety resource can guarantee that drowning or injury will not occur. Obtain advice appropriate to your setting and follow instructions from qualified personnel and local authorities.
This website and its contact email are not emergency-response services. In an emergency, contact the emergency services for your location.
